Have you ever wanted to know the end of a movie, or been evil enough to want to destroy someone elses fun? Well, if you have, then this page is for you. It will include a constantly increasing number of film plots and endings.
If you have a particular film that you want cracked, or have a "CRACK" that you want added to this listing, then please
me your contribution.
ABOUT A BOY: Will (Hugh Grant) ends up with Rachel (Rachel Weisz), Fiona (Toni Collette) is matched up with one of the Amnesty International guys that Will worked with. And the moral is really that "No Man Is An Island", couples aren't the future, you need more than that, couples and backup. Will and and Marcus recreated eachother.
ABYSS, THE: Michael Biehn dies when his mini sub gets crushed by water pressure.
ABYSS, THE: There are "nice" aliens hanging around at the bottom of the ocean. They do NOTHING in the end.
ADAPTATION: Donald Kaufman dies in a car crash after being shot and chased around a swamp by Susan Orlean (Meryl Streep) and John Laroche (Chris Cooper - who won a supporting actor Oscar for this role). The chase ensues because Susan ain't too happy about the Kaufman brothers discovering that she's shaggin' the principal character in her book. Charlie Kaufman drives off into the sunset at the end having learnt a lot from his brothers' attitude to life (I think). Basically though, the story itself is the fictional story of how he wrote this film and his struggle to adapt the best-selling book "The Orchid Thief".
AFFAIR TO REMEMBER, AN: Terry McKay (Deborah Kerr) is crippled in a car accident when she goes to meet Nickie Ferrante (Cary Grant) at the top of the Empire State Building. They end up together though when Grant goes to visit her at Christmas after his mother snuffs it. He susses that's she's favouring the use of her butt and they end up in each others arms...
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - A.I.: The kid does get to see his mother again. He finally locates the Blue Fairy (who's a statue from Coney Island that has been underneath the ocean for years). He ends up spending what is probably centuries at the bottom of the ocean (in his stolen police helicopter) looking at the fairy until mankind has become extinct and aliens discover him. His memory seems to be of great help to them, so they recreate mummy Monica (Frances O'Connor) from the DNA in the hair that the teddybear saved in his teadtbear pocket...
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - A.I.: The plot is pretty much bollocks, the film probably lasts a decade too long, but the special effects are nice.
ALIEN: When everybody dies except Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and the shuttle leaves the mother ship, all of the Aliens are NOT dead.
ALIENS (ALIEN II): When the shuttle leaves the planet's surface, all of the Aliens are NOT dead. Almost everyone else is though. The only ones to survive are Ripley, the kid and Michael Beihn.
ALIEN III: To start with, the kid and Beihn are dead a the start of this one (even though Beihn got more money for using his picture in this than he did for acting in the previous one...). When Ripley plummets into the flames at the end, enough of her is still left over for her to be cloned and come back for AlienIV. Jeez
ALIEN IV: Ripley and Winona (robot/cyborg) Ryder survive and come home to earth after having off'ed the alien (even though I'm sure they will come up with some crap way of resurrecting it for another outing).
ALONG CAME A SPIDER: Alex Cross (Morgan Freeman) shoots and kills Gary Soneji with the Turkish rifle. The plot twist is that two Secret Service agents knew about the kidnap before it happens (his partner Monica Potter and the other agent who said he was gonna get sacked at the beginning). Their motivation is $12 million in diamonds. Potter kills her partner, and Freeman shoots Potter. Freeman rescues the girl at the end.
AMERICA'S SWEETHEARTS: Kathleen Harrison (Julia Roberts) and Eddie Thomas (John Cusack) get together.
AMERICAN BEAUTY: Colonel Frank Fitts (Chris Cooper) blows Kevin Spacey's brains out in the kitchen. Which makes you wonder how Kev did the voice over...
AMERICAN HISTORY X: Edward Norton survives, but his brother Edward Furlong gets killed at the end.
AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, AN: David Kessler (David Naughton) gets shot after he rampages through the West End of London killing people left right and centre. On being shot he reverts back from werewolf to man.
ANGEL HEART: "Louis Cyphre" (Robert DeNiro) is really the Devil. Lucifer! Get it?
ANGER MANAGEMENT: The whole thing is a setup by Linda (Marisa Tomei) who thought Dave Buznik (Adam Sandler) had anger and commitment issues, so she arranged for buddy to be on the plane at the start. The court appearances were all staged. Dave finally gets over his issues when he thinks buddy is going to propose to Linda at a Yankees game. Dave beats Buddy to it, and kisses Linda infront of the whole crowd and she then tells him that the past two weeks have all been staged.
APOLLO 13: They never got to walk on the moon, but all three astronauts returned safely in what was possibly "NASA's finest hour".
ARLINGTON ROAD: Oliver Lang/William Fenimore (Tim Robbins) uses/tricks Michael Faraday (Jeff Bridges) to drive a bomb past security himself and Robbins then detonates it remotely. Bye bye Jeff, hello perfect crime...
ARMAGEDDON: Harry S. Stamper (Bruce Willis) saves the world at the very last minute (gee, wasn't that a huge surprise) in a sappily gallant suicide mission. A.J. Frost (Ben Affleck) and Grace Stamper (Liv Tyler) get married.
AS GOOD AS IT GETS: Helen Hunt's kid gets better. Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt end up together. Jack Nicholson offers Greg Kinnear a bedroom at his place (which he has made all nice and homely for him, and Greg Kinnear is obviously overwhelmed by the gesture, and has no option but to accept).

 |
| BACKDRAFT |
BABE: Does NOT get eaten.
BABE: Wins the sheepdog trial for his master.
BACKDRAFT: The fires are being lit by Scott Glen who is the fire chief and NOT Kurt Russell as we are all led to believe.
BACKDRAFT: BOTH Kurt Russell and Scott Glen die at the end.
BAD SEED, THE: The little brat dies at the end.
BAMBI: Bambi’s mom dies.
BASIC: West (Samuel L. Jackson) is NOT dead. He is part of an undercover operation to reveal drug trafficers in the army.
BASIC: Hardy (John Travolta) is not a drunk ex army man, it is his cover, he is part of West's (Samuel L. Jackson's)undercover operation. They reveal that Styles (Tim Daly - the man who initially called for Travola's help) was the man running all the drug deals. Styles attempts to shoot Travolta, but fellow investigator (not knowing Travolta is undercover) Osborne (Connie Nielsen) shoots Styles. She then follows Travolta realising that something is wrong, and thinking he is part of the drug deal only to realise that most of the people she had heard about in the conflicting stories were all actually allive and part of the operation (that's why none of the other bodies were found initially). As she's done such a good investigative job, they try and recruit her to their band...
BASIC INSTINCT: Sharon Stone IS the evil knife-wielding femme fetal.
BASIC INSTINCT: Jeanne Tripplehorn gets killed by Michael Douglas on the way and Gus (George Dzundza) gets killed by Shazza.
BATMAN: The Joker (Jack Nicholson) falls off a rope ladder attached to a helicopter. Batman (Michael Keaton) has tied a gargoyle to the Jokers leg (which is pulling him downwards off the ladder). The weight is finally too much for him and he plummets to his death on the pavement below.
BEAUTIFUL MIND, A: John Nash imagines all the spy stuff. He's schitzo and his friend, the little girl and Ed Harris are all created by his own persona. He's completely and utterly convinced and the story is portrayed from his point of view, so we are initially lulled into believing it. Still he came through the trauma, won his Nobel prize and kept his marriage alive.
BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA: David Lo Pan is changed to flesh after his little Blue Eyed Girl ritual (neither girl is harmed) and when this happens he becomes mortal. Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) throws a knife at him and misses, Lo Pan throws it back, Jack catches the knife in mid-air and returns it with interest straight at Lo Pan's head. Wallop, middle of the forehead and Lo Pan is dead!
BIRTHDAY GIRL: Sophia (Nicole Kidman) can indeed speak English. She has come to England to get John (Ben Chaplin) to steal £90,000 from his bank. Her friends (who she pretends not to know to well) tell John they will scald her and/or cut her throat unless he complies.
BIRTHDAY GIRL: John and Sophia end up together (with the money as well) when they fly off to Moscow at the end.
BLACK WIDOW: Debra Winger tricks Theresa Russell by pretending she has been caught for the murders only to turn the tables and arrest Russell at the end.
BLADE RUNNER: We'll forget about the "is-he isn't-he" a replicant arguments that will continue to rage about Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford). He survives after he is chased by Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer). In an apparent moment of contemplation and life embracement before he powers down (his incep date shuts him down), Hauer saves a dangling Ford from a fall that would kill him. Ford then rides off into the sunset with Rachael (Sean Young). All the other replecants are killed.
BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, THE: They all die, and you don't see how. The ending makes you sicker than the shaky camera work!
BLOOD WORK: The bad guy (Code Killer) is Jasper 'Buddy' Noone (Jeff Daniels). The
obvious clue to this is the phone number that appears to Terry McCaleb (Clint Eastwood) throughout the movie "903 472 568" = "no one". Jeff Daniels' character is Jasper Noone (No-One). Eastwood shoots Buddy a few times, and he is finally left prone in water, with Graciella Rivers (Wanda De Jesus) pushing his head under the water to end things.
BLOW OUT: Nancy Allen gets killed by John Lithgow at the end.
BLOW OUT: John Lithgow dies at the end.
BLOWN AWAY (1994): Ryan Gaerity (Tommy Lee Jones) gets blown up by one of his own bombs aboard his hideout boat after a fight with Jimmy Dove (Jeff Bridges). This is after Max O'Bannon (Lloyd Bridges) has been sorta blown to pieces by Jones for being a nosey pain in the butt
BLOWN AWAY: Bridges disarms the bomb that Tommy Lee Jones left in Bridges' girlfriends car.
BONNIE AND CLYDE: Bonnie and Clyde get shot full of holes in a field.
BOUNCE: Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow end up together. I'm sure any girl would fall in love with the guy who killed her husband. It's nice to see a love story so firmly based on reality.
BOURNE IDENTITY, THE (2002): Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is an assassin who had a moment of tenderness when about to off a mark and got shot himself resulting in his buggered memory. Ultimately he survives to make a new life with Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente).
BOURNE IDENTITY, THE (2002): Conkilin (Chris Cooper) is assassinated in an effort to aid Bourne in his disappearance.
BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S: Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) and Paul Varjak (George Peppard) end up together. Oh, and they find the cat.
BRAVEHEART: Just in-case you didn't know, William Wallace (Mel Gibson) gets hung, drawn and quartered in the end after Robert the Bruce seriously stitches him up! I could tell you who else dies, but it would probably be easier to tell you who survives...... His Irish mate, the big guy and Robert the Bruce.
BRIDGET JONES' DIARY: Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) ends up with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) after Bridget finds out that Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) cheated with Darcey's wife, and not the other way round as Cleaver had said..
BROKEN ARROW: Riley Hale (Christian Slater) saves the day when he finally has some fisticuffs with Vic Deakins (Travolta). Slater jumps off the train whilst Travolta is left to watch the nuclear device punch a hole through his stomach. One "nuke" is set-off, but it is underground and doesn't effect anyone.
BRIAN'S SONG: James Caan dies at the end.
BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID: At the end, Butch and Sundance get blown to bits in Bolivia.

 |
| THE CRYING GAME |
CARRIE: Carrie's arm comes out of the ground at the end and grabs Amy Irving by the wrist, but scary as it is, it's just a dream.
CASABLANCA: Ilsa Lund Laszlo (Ingrid Bergman) leaves Richard Blain (Humphrey Bogart) standing on the airstrip as she buggers-off into the night with loser Laszlo (like it would happen in real life... I don't think so!).
CASINO: Sam "Ace" Rothstein (De Nero) does not die in the explosion at the beginning of the film, he somehow miraculously gets saved by a metal plate under the car seat.
CASINO: Ginger McKenna (Shazza Stone) dies of a drug overdose after getting away with Rothstein's million worth of jewellery from the bank.
CASINO: Nicky Santoro (Joe Pesci) and his brother get beaten to death by baseball bats and then get dropped into an open grave in what look like cane fields. Santoro is actually buried alive, but believe me, he was in no shape to come crawling outta there....
CASTAWAY: Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) ends the film literally at a crossroads after returning from the island (by making a raft from logs and a broken portaloo that inexplicably washes up on his beach). Upon his return home he finds that Kelly Frears (Helen Hunt) thought he was dead so she got married while he was away. He delivers the one FedEX package that he had deliberately not opened (you never find out what's inside the sucker). Wilson (the ball) dies (hehehe) when he floats off (amazing considering he isn't even inflated anymore) into the distance before Chuck's raft is spotted by a passing tanker.
CHARLOTTE GRAY: Charlotte's boyfriend isn't dead. The photos she seen are of his navigator. He turns up near the end, and that's when Charlotte realises that she has fallen in love with Julien Levade (Billy Crudup - the French guy) during her excapades. She returns to France after the war and goes to the Chateau'y place where she meets him and finally tells him her name. Cue soft music dimming of lights, etc..
CHINA SYNDROME, THE: Jack Lemmon dies at the end.
CHINATOWN: Kathryn Mulwray is Evelyn Mulwray’s daughter and her sister.
CHINATOWN: Noah Cross (John Huston) is Evelyn Mulwray’s (Faye Dunaway) father and her lover.
CHINATOWN: Evelyn Mulwray (Faye Dunaway) gets her eyeball blown out at the end.
CITIZEN CANE: Rosebud is his childhood sled.
CLIFFHANGER: Every baddie gets killed, but the big finale is saved for Sly Stallone hooking John Lithgow's helicopter on a mountain ladder. The ladder causes the helicopter to crash into the side of the mountain (without fully exploding mind you...) and then the fight between good and evil takes place, Sly manages to hold on to what remains of the ladder before the chopper falls with Lithgow in it to it's demise at the bottom of the cliff.
COMMANDO (1985): Arnold Schwarzenegger pretty much kills anything and everything that moves. The body-count is astonishing. He rescues Alyssia Milano and
literally throws a pipe through the baddie.
CON AIR: Cameron Poe (Nicholas Cage) saves the day by landing the plane on the strip at Las Vegas. He saves the token female prison guard, his diabetic mate survives, and he gets to give the wet, torn, filthy and mangled furry bunny rabbit to his daughter.
CON AIR: Garland Greene (Steve Buscemi) is the only con who actually manages to get away.
CONSPIRACY THEORY: There is indeed a conspiracy happening around Jerry Fletcher (Mel Gibson). Basically, Dr. Jonas (Patrick Stewart) has been part of a brainwashing experiment where he has been creating assassins. Jerry Fletcher was one of these assassins, but he became friends with Alice Sutton's (Julia Roberts) father prior to his death, and swore that he would protect her. The brainwashing resulted in him forgetting why he was protecting her. Dr. Jonas gets blown away in a bath by Alice after he has put a few bullet holes into Jerry.
CONSPIRACY THEORY: Jerry Fletcher (Mel Gibson) appears to die in hospital after the final shooting, but is infact alive as he continues to help the government by revealing Dr. Jonas' whole operation once his memory has fully returned.
CONTACT: The signal Dr. Eleanor Ann 'Ellie' Arroway (Jodie Foster) decodes is an alien set of plans to build a machine that will transport one person from our world to theirs. After an act of sabotage (during which Tom Skerritt is killed) where the machine is destroyed we find that another has been built to be piloted by Foster. The machine drops a pod and this is then transported through another dimension to the aliens world. The problem is that whilst Foster appears to be transported, spectators simply see the pod fall seamlessly to the catchment area below. There is no apparent way to prove or disprove her story. Her video recordings have returned as static and her story "strains credibilty". A secret report however does note that she returned with 18 hours of static - an awful lot of static for a momentary drop...
CONTENDER, THE (2000): Laine Hanson (Joan Allen) is nominated as the next Vice President when it is revealed that Gov. Jack Hathaway (William L. Petersen) (her main rival) orchestrated the opening bridge crash incident. He is therefore charged with death by neglect (or something) leaving the path open for Laine Hanson. You also find out that she wasn't involved in the
"gang bang" which is proved because she has a scar that wasn't on the video.
COOL HAND LUKE: Luke (Paul Newman) dies at the end when he's sorta like shot in the head (that usually does it...)
CORE, THE: The earth is saved, and surprisingly, only two of the crew survive to return after their pathetically predictible ordeal. Major Rebecca Childs (Hilary Swank) is one of them, and the other is Dr. Joshua Keyes (Aaron Eckhart). They even throw a scare in at the end and make as if the tunnelling thingy can't be found after it's return, but, surprise surprise it turns up making the sound of whales - in the wrong place... Save yourself some money and shoot yourself in the head instead of seeing this crap.
CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON: Gee, you try deciphering the bloody names in this film... The bad guy (Jade Fox) is indeed the young chics old-lady governess. She gets skewered by Li Mu Bai (Yun-Fat Chow), but unfortunately she manages to hit him with a poisoned dart that buggers his chances of survival too. The young chic turns good at the end.
CRIMSON TIDE: The Russians have indeed retreated and no nuclear warheads are launched by anyone at anyone.
CRIMSON TIDE: Denzel Washington is given a promotion and Gene Hackman resigns at the end.
CRUEL INTENTIONS: Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillippe) finally realises that he is in love with Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon), unfortunately he gets run over by a car before he can fully profess his love for her.
CRUEL INTENTIONS: Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is exposed for the bitch that she is when she is caught with cocaine hidden in her necklace at school (after Sebastian's diary is made public).
CRYING GAME, THE: Jaye Davidson is a man.
CRYING GAME, THE: Forrest Whittaker dies.
CYPHER: The whole plot is bloody complicated. Basically, Jeremy Northam is the man in control of everything. His mission is to steal some data, which is Lucy Liu's file (which marks her to be killed). Lucy is Northam's real girlfriend. Northam succeeds in his mission.

 |
| DAREDEVIL |
DANTE'S PEAK: The old girl (Grandma) dies after she saves the family by pushing the metal boat through water that has turned to acid. It eats away at her frail little old legs until she can't take it any more. The other main character to die is Dr. Paul Dreyfus (Charles Hallahan) who dies as he is trying to cross the river to get away from the volcano. The river at this point has tons of debris in it and has swollen to the point where it destroys the only bridge whilst Paul's van is crossing it. Dalton (Brosnan), Mayor Wando (Hamilton) and the kids all survive in a disused mine after he activates the NASA locator so that the rescue services can find them. He breaks his arm, the rest just get mighty dirty.
DAREDEVIL: The girlfriend gets one of her own knives through the chest during her fight with bullseye and Daredevil listens as her heart stops beating (a bit of a habit for him). Bullseye gets it when DareDevil pushes his hands infront of a police snipper's bullet and therefore renders him helpless. He does of course push him out of a high window to finish him off. DareDevil is now free to take on Kingpin (who ordered the death of his father and Electra his girlfriend). Kingpin proves to be a bit of a tough cookie until DareDevil realises it's raining outside. He breaks a window and therefore sees (gee this is sounding like bollox even as I'm typing) kingpin through the rain and gives him a right goin' over. He doesn't kill him though, settling for him being arrested.
DAREDEVIL: It seems like most people including Kingpin and the news reporter suss that DareDevil is indeed blind Matt, but no one actually reveals the true identity.
DAY AFTER TOMORROW, THE: Both Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid) and Sam Hall (Jake Gyllenhaal) survive without any real problems. Sam's girlfriend survives too as the northern hemisphere is pretty much buggered (turned into one mighty large ice-block). The President dies and the annoying Vice President takes over and realises the importance of the climate (yadda yadda). The most reassuring aspect of the film was that it appears that Australians were living in the one remaining paradise...
DAYLIGHT: Kit Latura (Stallone) saves most of the losers stuck in the tunnel, a couple of them die along the way including the rich sports businessman, tunnel copper, old annoying lady (who loves the bloody dog) and the big stupid prisoner. Stallone and Madelyne Thompson (Amy Brenneman) end up surviving when the two of them are miraculously blown to the surface of the Hudson river in a "controlled explosion".
DEAD AGAIN: Emma Thompson was really Roman Strauss and Kenneth Branaugh was really Margaret Strauss.
DEEP IMPACT: Jenny Lerner (Téa Leoni) gives up her place in the shelter to reconcile
with her estranged father on the beach and to be the first to be crushed by the tidal wave. The first mission failed and separated the comet into two pieces (the first piece strikes earth and an enormous tidal wave obliterates the eastern seaboard and floods the eastern time zone). The Robert Duvall-led "Messiah" crew say goodbye to their families then
plunge into a fissure in the comet and blow it to smithereens, thereby saving the earth. (Amazing you say huh... another film where you thought the Earth was gonna be destroyed... NOT!)
DEMOLITION MAN: Wesley Snipes is frozen by Sylvester Stallone and then smashed to pieces at the end (he's completely frozen, so he's brittle ok - don't throw logic in my face... talk to the hand coz I ain't listening!).
DIE HARD: Bruce Willis has a gun taped to his back which he uses to shoot Alan Rickman before he throws him out of a window at the end.
DIE HARD II: Bruce Willis blows up the escaping plane at the end (the plane that takes close to ten minutes running down the runway at almost full speed, running along possibly the longest bloody runway on this or any other planet, whilst Willis fights on the wing. Lucky it wasn't a windy evening). The plane has all the remaining bad guys on it including Colonel Stuart, General Ramon Esperanza and the surprise baddie Major Grant (who everyone thought had come to save the day).
DIE HARD III: The gold IS NOT on the boat, that's simply a huge hoax to blow the boat up and make people think that all the gold has sunk to the bottom of the sea.
DIE HARD III: Whilst on the boat and tied to the big bomb Bruce Willis is thrown some head ache tablets by Jeremy Irons. After his escape (by pulling a convenient bit of wire out of his shoulder and using it to undo his handcuffs), Willis notices an address sticker at the bottom of the jar with Irons' next point of call on it. He therefore takes the whole US police force there to finish Irons off (which he does by shooting a wire off an electricity pole right onto Irons' helicopter blades blowing the sucker up.
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS: Glenne Headly is "The Jackal" and she ends up con'ing both Steve Martin and Michael Caine.
DON'T SAY A WORD: The all important number that they are trying to get out of Elizabeth's head is 815508. It is the number of the grave that her father is buried in on Hart Island. She put her doll inside the coffin, and the doll contains the multi-million dollar ruby.
DON'T SAY A WORD: Patrick Koster (Sean Bean) gets buried alive at the end, and all the good guys survive. The only casualty is the police woman who gets shot - but hey, it's only a flesh wound. The dead girl they find at the beginning is Louis Sachs' (Oliver Platt's) girlfriend. He was being blackmailed to get the number as well.
DUEL: David Mann (Dennis Weaver) survives. The unseen killer in the truck dies when he drives it off a cliff in yet another attempt to kill Mann.
DYING YOUNG: at the start of the film he's dying, then he doesn't need keemo anymore (but he's lieing), falls in love with Julia, she falls for him. He goes into remission for a few weeks, then gets sicker again, she promises to care for him, he goes back (we presume) for treatment (with her).

EARTHQUAKE: Charlton Heston dies at the end.
ENEMY AT THE GATES: Vassili Zaitsev (Jude Law) finally kills Major König (Ed Harris) after Commisar Danilov (Joseph Fiennes) stands up, gets blown away and the Major reveals his position. Vasilli waits until the major finally emerges from his hiding place and then off's him with a nicely placed bullet through the forehead.
ENEMY AT THE GATES: Despite being blown up, Tania Chernova (Rachel Weisz) survives and Vassili finds her in hospital to (in all probably) live happily ever after.
ENFORCER, THE: Kate Moore (Tyne Daly) gets blown away on Alcatraz Island near the end.
ENGLISH PATIENT, THE: The burnt patient is really Count Almasy. He and the nurse DON'T fall in love (probably the biggest surprise), and he dies of a morphine overdose after lots of vivid (and seriously long) flashbacks.
ENGLISH PATIENT, THE: Count Almasy's girlfriend kicks the bucket when she is left inside a cave to die.
ENIGMA: Claire Romilly is not dead, she has been spying on the code breakers at Bletchley Park. Whilst doing so, she fell in love with 'Puck' Pukowski who had been using her to intercept German transmissions from a mass grave where the Russians had killed and buried his brother (and thousands of others). As the Russians were on the Allies side, Puck wanted to gain revenge by helping their enemy (the Germans) by revealing how the Allies were breaking Enigma. Puck is of course foiled and blown to pieces when rendezvous'ing with a U-Boat. Tom Jericho (Dougray Scott) susses this (with the help of Hester) and also gets back into the Shark code by using the messages of U-Boats attacking the Convoys as a cipher. Claire's death had been staged (probably with the help of Wigram - her apparent controller).
ENOUGH: Slim (J-Lo) in a mere month learns to be the Karate Kid. She kicks Mitch's (Bill Campbell's) ass, but as suspected he comes back from the dead and knocks her out with a lamp to the head. She's lying there all bleedin' and close to pushing up daisies when she kicks out and gives him a swift combination, a couple of jabs and then whallop - she sends him over the balcony into the metal framed glass table. So, he's lying there dead, and she gets away with it. She ends up going to meet Joe in "The Emerald City"
ERASER: U.S. Marshal Robert Deguerin (James Caan) and Undersecretary of Defense Daniel Harper (Andy Romano) are the baddies. They are finished off by U.S. Marshal Robert Deguerin (Arnold Schwarzenegger) when he traps their limo on a railway crossing and a train sorta plows through it at breakneck speed.
EXECUTIVE DECISION: The big surprise is that Steven Seagal dies after about 20 minutes when he falls out of a plane. Other than that, there are few surprises, David Grant (Kurt Russell) out-does the whole "Special Forces" team and almost beats the hijackers single-handedly. One stewardess is killed near the start, the other survives (even though she deserved to die). The deadly gas isn't released because of a plastic lolly-stick placed into the bomb mechanism as a barrier.
EYES WIDE SHUT: Firstly thank me for saving you from wasting three hours of your life to view this garbage. Ok, where do I start? William 'Bill' Harford (Tom Cruise) and his wife Alice (Nicole Kidman) end up together despite her finding out that he cheated on her. The rest of the plot was obscured by tears of boredom. All you really need to know is that you see Nicole's tits. Save yourself the three hours by simply downloading them off the
internet!

 |
| FORREST GUMP |
FARGO: Jean Lundergaard is indeed "Off'ed" (pretty much expected by all...). Carl Showalter (Steve Buscemi) dies when he is fed into a wood-chipper, while his partner is shot in the leg and arrested by Marge Gunderson (Frances "ever-so-pregnant" McDormand). Jerry Lundergaard gets arrested right at the end by a couple of state troopers.
FATAL ATTRACTION: Glen Close dies at the end (a couple of times), so does the nice bunny wabbit.
FEMME FETALE (2002): From the point when Laure Ash/Lily (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) falls asleep in the bath to the point where she kills Nicolas Bardo (Antonio Banderas) and she subsiquently gets killed, she's having a dream. When she wakes up in the over-filled bath, she makes a few changes as she has some sort of dream hindsight. The second time around the truck that originally kills her girlfriend accomplice runs into the two guys chasing her and kills them. Leaving her free to bump into Bandaras and live happilly ever after with the 4 million from the heist.
FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF: Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) doesn't get caught because the sun shines out of his arse. His sister Jeanie (Jennifer Grey) realises the rrror of her ways and helps him at the end. And, the Headmaster gets his come-uppence.
FEVER PITCH: Arsenal win the league Championship at the end of the 1989 Season and Paul and Susan end up together.
FEW GOOD MEN, A: Col. Nathan Jessep (Jack Nicholson) admits to ordering a "Code Red" after Lt. J.G. Daniel Kaffee (Tom Cruise)
"expertly" cross examines him in the final court room showdown.
FIELD OF DREAMS: "If you build it he will come" refers to Ray Kinsella's (Kevin Costner's) father. Ray does indeed build the baseball field, and after the 8 banned Chicago White Sox players turn up and play (Shoeless Joe Jackson and pals), his father turns up. They end up having a game of catch
FIFTH ELEMENT, THE: Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis) saves the Earth by realising that all four stones have to have their own element done to them, ie, put water on the water stone, blow on the wind stone, etc.. The fifth element (the "
babe") then has to be put into the middle of them and Willis has to tell her he loves her (don't ya wanna vomit?). Once this is done, they go into action and evil is destroyed. The girl recovers, and Bruce'y ends up getting his kit off with her just before the final credits.
FIGHT CLUB: Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) is a creation of Edward Norton's imagination, and he himself is the one organising everything and sleeping with Marla (Helena Bonham Carter). At the end Norton puts a gun to his own head to threaten his imaginary buddy. He pulls the trigger, Durden dies and Norton has shot himself through the side of the mouth (and luckily missed his own brain). He then watches all the buildings blow up with Marla at his side.
FINAL DESTINATION 2: Survivors: Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) and cop Kimberly Corman (Michael Landes). They beat death by giving "new life". Kimberly deliberately steals an ambulance and drives into a lake (amazingly only a few metres from the hospital) to kill herself so that she can be revived (after death) in the hospital. This goes to plan, and she does indeed beat death. Unfortunately, the kid who got saved in the car crash just before the hospital incident was saved by a person who should have died earlier, and the surprise finale is him being blown to pieces by a slightly dodgy bbq.
FORREST GUMP: Life is like a box of chocolates when his girlfriend/wife Jennie bites the dust.
FORGOTTEN, THE: The whole story is about an alien experiement, It's not about the kids, it's about repressing the memories of them and seeing if they can simply be erased. Telly Paretta (Julianne Moore) is unique that no matter what the aliens do, she won't forget, and the aliens want her too, so they get more and more desperate to try and make her forget. Finally they wipe the first memory she has of Sam by erasing the look as he's first held up in the hospital. A couple of moments later she remembers her pregnant tummy, remembers Sam again, and voila the aliens return life to normal (in a happy ever after bit of bollox)...
FRIDAY THE 13TH: Jason is NOT dead at the end of either numbers I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, etc.....
FROM DUSK TILL DAWN: Hmmm, who dies... Quinten Tarantino, Harvey Keitel (and his annoying son), Cheech Marin and erm, pretty much everyone except George Clooney and Juliette Lewis. Lewis inherits the mobile home...

| GET CARTER |
GAME, THE: Nicholas Van Orton (Michael Douglas) "kills" his brother Conrad (Sean Penn), in a staged hoax, only to find that Douglas was merely entangled in a huge, expensive adventure fantasy gift given to him by Penn instead of actually being in danger. Christine (Deborah Unger) is part of the game, and has been directing Douglas all the way through...
GENERAL'S DAUGHTER, THE: The killer is Col. William Kent (Timothy Hutton). He did it because he was in love with Capt. Elisabeth Campbell but she was having sex left right and centre, and had no feelings for him (or indeed anyone). We also find out that years ago she was gang raped on an army training exercise and her father the Lt. Gen (James Cromwell) covered it up. Travolta said that despite living on after the rape, that's the day she died, and blamed Cromwell for it.
GENERAL'S DAUGHTER, THE: Travolta and Stowe uncover the identity of the rapists, and the case that the Lt. Gen. said could never be solved, was - therefore showing that he really didn't want to open the "can of worms".
GET CARTER (1971): Jack Carter (Michael Caine) is assassinated at the end with a shot to the middle of his forehead (leaves no doubt of the outcome) as he is about to throw his shotgun into the sea after killing the man responsible for his brothers death.
GIFT, THE: The killer is Wayne Collins (Greg Kinnear), Annie Wilson (Kate Blanchett) is saved by Buddy Cole (Giovanni Ribisi) at the end (even though he is dead without her knowledge), he had killed himself earlier that night, and saved her as a ghost. Sounds like bollox doesn't it, I thought the same whilst watching it..
GODFATHER II, THE: Michael (Al Pacino) has his own brother, Fredo (John Cazale), killed.
GODFATHER III, THE: Michael Corleone’s daughter (Sofia Coppola) gets shot and killed at the opera.
GODZILLA: No main characters die! Godzilla gets blown away on the Brooklyn Bridge by aeroplanes shooting missiles, but the huge
non-surprise is that one of the Godzilla eggs survives the Maddison Square Garden bombing. The final movie shot is of a little
Zilla breaking out of the egg (as big a surprise as Christmas every year...)
GONE IN 60 SECONDS (2000): They steel all 50 cars but Randall 'Memphis' Raines (Nic Cage) arrives at the port a couple of mins late with the last one (Eleanor) meaning that he failed to keep his end of the bargain.
GONE IN 60 SECONDS (2000): Randall 'Memphis' Raines (Nic Cage) kills Raymond Vincent Calitri (Chris Eccleston) whilst saving the life of Detective Castlebeck (Delroy Lindo). Castlebeck therefore lets Memphis geton his life, and the persuit of getting inside Angelina Jolie's knickers.
GOTHIKA: Miranda Grey's (Halle Berry's) husband raped and killed the girl we see at the bridge (he had a little hideaway set up with camera, bed and other rapist shit). The rest of the story is an elaborate ghost plot to get Miranda to work out the clues. The even bigger suprise at the end is that the Sherrif was hubby's accomplice (he's the one covered in tattoo's). Miranda shoots him in the head (with some ghostly help) moments before Pete Graham (Robert Downey Jr.) arrives after the action to rescue her (Downey had absolutley nothing to do with anything whatsoever. Oh, almost forgot, she DID kill her husband, but was possessed by the ghost at the time (though we find out he deserved it BIGTIME!).
GREAT ESCAPE, THE: In all, 76 POWs escape from the camp. 50 are captured and shot by the Germans, the rest were kept in Germany with only three actually getting to England.
GREAT ESCAPE, THE: Of the famous bunch, David McCallum gets shot, Donald Pleasence gets shot, Gordon Jackson gets shot, Richard Attenborough gets shot. Charles Bronson escapes survives and as does James Coburn. Whilst James Garner and Steve McQueen are both captured and returned to the camp.
GREEN MILE, THE: John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan) can indeed perform miracles, he was not responsible for the murders that he was accused of, those were down to Wild Bill (Sam Rockwell). Unfortunately, there is no reprieve for Coffey as he does get executed in the end. Percy gets what he deserves when all the bad energy enters him from Coffey and basically buggers him up.
GROUNDHOG DAY: Bill Murray gets Andie McDowell in the end (like we didn't know he would....) The secret seems to be that he needed to become selfless. He has one massive selfless day, and voila, he gets the babe.

HALLOWEEN: Michael Myers is NOT dead at the end of either numbers I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, etc.....
HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE: The item hidden under the trapdoor in Hogwarts is the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's stone. Now this stone cannot be possessed by anyone who actually wants to use it or something, which means that Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is wasting his time protecting the thing all along. But, it wouldn't take a genius to guess that he did save the day by defeating Prof. Quirrell (Ian Hart) with a sudden ability to turn people to stone. The real bad guy (Lord Voldemort) who gave Potter the scar is also using Quirrell's body and is revealed when Quirrell takes his turban thingy off (you see the face in the back of Quirrell's head).
HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE: Basically, the sun shines out of Potter's arse and everything turns out fine without anyone suffering too much (except the audience).
HOLLOW MAN, THE: The only survivors are Matthew Kensington (Josh Brolin) and Linda MacKay (Elisabeth Shue), Liz does pretty much everything to kill Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon), she burns him, she hits him with stuff, but he keeps comin' back for more... Finally he is dropped down a burning lift shaft into the inferno below where he presumably becomes toast.
HURRICANE, THE: Denzel Washington gets out of jail, he does not pass go, and does not collect $200.....

 |
| INSOMNIA |
IDENTITY: The murderer is the little kid. That however doesn't explain either the
big plot twist, or how a kid can actually off all these people. None of this actually happens OUTSIDE the mind of Malcolm Rivers the psychiatric patient. The ten people are all multiple personalities that he has created inside his own head (as is the whole scenario - which has been arranged by the doctor (Alfred Molina)). The killings are therefore (the doctors way of) reducing the number of personalities until we are left with one. We are lead to believe that this final victorious personality is Paris (Amanda Peet) - until almost the end when that persona is killed by the kid. The kid then takes control of the mind and kills the doctor (in real life) in the final scene.
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER: Ok, where do I start with this one. The killer is actually the father of the girlfriend of the person they thought they killed in the run-over come drowning incident. The two survivors are Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and her boyfriend Barry Cox (Ryan Phillippe). They kill the evil father/fisherman by lopping his hand off and drowning him (once again) while they are out to sea. Mind you, it is all rendered pretty pointless when Jennifer Love Hewitt sees
"I still know what you did last summer" scrawled in a shower mirror in the final scene.
INDECENT PROPOSAL: Demi Moore ends up going back to Woody Harrelson in the end (even though every woman on this planet would choose Robert Redford).
INDEPENDENCE DAY: You may think that aliens would be more intelligent than to be beaten by a mere computer virus... Well, David (Jeff Goldblum) will prove that they aren't (My God, Bill Gates could indeed rule the universe)!
INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE: The bloody annoying little girl is fried to death by a handy bright window.
INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE: Tom Cruise ends up killing Christian Slater at the end (or so we are led to believe)
IN THE LINE OF FIRE: John Malkovich falls out of an elevator on the side of the hotel to his death at the end after Clint Eastwood's bullet-proof-vest has taken the bullet meant for the President.
INSOMNIA: Will Dormer (Al Pacino) and Walter Finch (Robin Williams) shoot eachother. Williams dies almost immediately, whilst Pacino survives long enough to stop Ellie Burr (Hilary Swank) throwing away Puchin's 9mm bullet (that she found earlier). Swank had pretty much sussed that Pacino shot (and killed) his partner accidentally. But Pacino's last words persuade her to return the bullet to the evidence bag (we are left to assume she takes it back as evidence, as the film ends with Pacino's death).
INSOMNIA: The dead girls dress is hidden at Williams' beach house. Williams intends to Kill Swank when she comes to pick up the love letters but Pacino stops him.
IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: George Bailey wishes he had never been born when a heap of money goes missing from his "Savings and Loan" (the money was accidentally left at a counter by Uncle Billy and old man Potter found it and nicked it) - (incidentally, this is meant to be the first time in a mainstream film that the 'baddie' gets away without getting his/her comeuppance). An angel (Clarence) makes it so that George was never born. George see what life would be like had he not saved his brother, stopped Mr Gower accidentally poisoning a customer, etc.. realises how many people he's touched during his life, misses his family and wishes he WAS born. Once again the wish is made real, he runs back to his family and realises that word has spread around town and everyone is giving money to the bank inspector to save George.

 |
| JAGGED EDGE |
J.F.K.: Everybody (and I mean EVERYBODY) is in on the Kennedy assassination cover-up. Be ashamed, you know who you are!
JADE: Linda Fiorentino is the erotic killer named Jade.
JAGGED EDGE: The killer is Jeff Bridges and Glen Close shoots him at the end.
JAWS: Quint (Robert Shaw) gets devoured bigtime being pretty much swallowed and munched onscreen in a melee of mechanical gnashers. Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) then has to finish off the Great White on his own. As his boat sinks and the tension builds he shoots an oxygen canister that is in the sharks mouth and the resulting explosion splatters shark across the screen and most of the cinema. Oh, almost forgot, Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) then pops up out of no-where (alive and kicking) having survived his earlier shark attack.
JAWS 2: The fish dies.
JAWS 3-D: The fish dies.
JAWS: The Revenge (4): The fish dies.
JERRY MAGUIRE: Rob does not get injured when he spins around whilst making his touchdown, and lo-and-behold, Rob ends up getting a contract for a mere $11.2 million for four years.
JOE DIRT: Joe's parents deliberately left him behind at the Grand Canyon (he realises this when he finally finds them). Joe ends up living happily ever after with Brandy (and she buys him a new wig at the end...)

KALIFORNIA: Early (Brad Pitt) sorta blows his girlfriend Adele (Juliette Lewis) away. Still, we know we can rely on Brian (David Duchovny) to finish Early off in the end proving (yawn) that every person has the ability within them to kill (I think that was the point of it anyway.....).
KILL BILL: VOL 2: Beatrix Kiddo/The Bride (Uma Thurman) kills Bill (David Carradine) using the "Five Point Palm Exploding Heart" technique that Pai Mei taught her (and didn't teach Bill). After killing all the Deadly Viper Assassination squad members (Well, Elle (Daryl Hannah) kills Budd (Michael Madsen), and whilst Uma removes Hannah's remaining eye, it's a bit ambiguous if she is killed by the snake or not). Thurman is left to live her future as a mother rather than a deadly assassin.
KISS THE GIRLS: Cassanova (the baddie) is none other than buddy cop Detective Nick Ruskin (Cary Elwes) who's offed by Dr. Alex Cross (Dr. Alex Cross).

 |
| LETHAL WEAPON 2 |
LANTANA: Nik Daniels (Vince Colosimo) didn't Kill Dr. Valerie Somers (Barbara Hershey). He gave her a lift, went to take a shortcut through the woods and she (thinking he was going to take her to a dark place and do unmentionables to her) jumped out of the van, did a runner and fell over the edge of a particularly badly positioned cliff.
LAST CASTLE, THE: Lieutenant General Eugene Irwin (robert Redford) gets shot and killed at the end when he has raised the U. S. flag (the right way up - it's all very emotional stuff...).
LAST MAN STANDING: The title pretty much says it all, Bruce Willis ends up wiping the floor with everyone and motors off into the distance at the end in the knowledge of a town will decimated.
LAURA: Laura (Gene Tierney) is not really dead and it was Waldo Lydecker (Clifton Webb) who tried to kill her.
LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN, THE: Baddies: Dorian Gray (Stuart Townsend) and, The Phantom/M (Richard Roxburgh). Both die, as does Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery).
LETHAL WEAPON: The background story is all about soldeirs getting together after the war and using their old contacts to bring in two mighty big Heroin shipments a year. Hunsaker wanted out, so they killed his daughter to teach him a lesson (and give him a hint).
LETHAL WEAPON: Michael Hunsaker gets shot and killed from a helicopter by Mr. Joshua (Gary Busey). General Peter McAllister (Mitch Ryan) gets blown up in a car. And finally Mr. Joshua gets his after a fight-out on Sergeant Roger Murtaugh's (Danny Glover) lawn. Mr. Joshua has gone there to give Murtaugh's family some grief. Riggs (Mel Gibson) and Joshua have a fist fight on the lawn, Riggs beats Joshua, and at the end of the fight Joshua pulls a policeman's gun from his holster and BOTH Riggs and Murtaugh shoot him.
LETHAL WEAPON 2: Rika van den Haas (Patsy Kensit) is murdered (by drowning). Pieter 'Adolph' Vorstedt (Derrick O'Connor) is killed by Riggs when he literally drops a container on him (after beating him in a knife fight), and, the most satisfying death of many a film is left until last. Arjen 'Aryan' Rudd (played wonderfully by Joss Ackland) shoots Riggs a few times (obviously not enough to kill him...). Murtaugh then turns and tells him to drop his gun upon which Arjen raises his credentials and claims 'diplomatic immunity'. "Has been revoked" comes the reply as a bullet pierces Arjen's forehead... Followed by the immortal "They been 'de-kaffirnated' line.
LIAR LIAR: Fletcher Reede (Jim Carrey) wins his court case. Samantha Cole (Jennifer Tilly) was too young to sign a pre-nuptial agreement because she was underage when she got married. He then realises that the truth is indeed a wonderful thing (yawn) and ends up getting back together with his wife (yeah, big surprise there huh?).
LIBERTY STANDS STILL: The whole situation has been staged so that Joe (Wesley Snipes) can come face to telescopic lens with Victor Wallace (Oliver Platt). Victor's company manufactured the gun that killed Joe's daughter and Joe holds Victor responsible. As soon as Joe gets Victor in his sights a shot to the thigh and a second to the chest finishes him off. Joe then emails out video files of Liberty Wallace telling him what senators, etc. were bribed. He then commits suicide (gunshot) before the police get to him. Liberty and her boyfriend are unharmed (the bombs in the hot dog stand and dressing-room were not meant to go off).
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL: Guido Orefice (Roberto Benigni) is shot by the Germans the night before liberation. His son survives by hiding in a box and is picked up in a tank by Allied forces. On seeing the tank he thinks he has won the 1st prize in the fictional game his father created. At the end, he is reunited with his mother.
LION KING, THE: Mufusa (Simba’s daddy) gets crushed to death in a wildebeest stampede.
LONG KISS GOODNIGHT, THE: Samantha Cain (Geena Davis) used to be a tasty assassin before she lost her memory. She regains it, kicks some ass and finally ends up with her daughter and boyfriend after righting all the wrongs.
LONG KISS GOODNIGHT, THE: 'Mitch' Henessey (Samuel L. Jackson) survives as well.
LOVE STORY: Ali McGraw dies at the end.

 |
| THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS |
MALTESE FALCON, THE: The Maltese falcon is a fake.
MATCHSTICK MEN: Roy Waller (Nicholas Cage) is the victim of a con from the start of the film. His partner Frank Mercer (Sam Rockwell) is after Waller's million in the safety deposit box. Pretty much everything is fake. It turns out that Roy doesn't even have a daughter. The con succeeds and Frank gets away with the money. Even the psychiatrist is fake.
MATRIX, THE: Cypher (Joe Pantolino) is the insider mole who is feeding the agents information to trap Morpheus and Neo.
MATRIX, THE: Neo (Keanu Reeves) gets shot, dies for a while, comes back to life, susses The Matrix and then takes control of it by stopping bullets in mid air and then buggering up the agents by jumping inside their bodies and sorta exploding out of them (including Agent Smith).
MATRIX 2: RELOADED, THE: The dream Neo (Keanu Reeves) has of Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) dying comes true, but in reality, Neo saves her, removes the bullet from her body with his hand and brings her back to life after death. Zion apparently falls with pretty much everyone (except for our stars and their little support group) killed (this is unseen).
MATRIX 2: RELOADED, THE: Just before the end Neo stops a heap of Centinals with just mind control. The effort of this leaves him in a coma (which is his state of health as the film ends). The kid who wanted to stab Neo (really Agent Smith) when he was in Zion seems to be the only survivor of it's destruction...
MATRIX 2: RELOADED, THE: Neo is told that he is the sixth "ONE".
MATRIX 3: REVOLUTIONS, THE: Trinity dies, Smith dies and Neo dies. Zion is saved when Neo agrees a truce with da main machine if he can stop Smith. Whilst Neo ultimately dies in this battle, as he also defeats Smith, the truce is indeed upheld, and hundreds upon hundreds of centinels retreat from a close to defenceless Zion.
MATRIX 3: REVOLUTIONS, THE: After death, Neo is in a crucifix pose hinting upon Jesus symbolism and similarities. We are therefore lead to believe that he may rise once again...
MEET JOE BLACK: Anthony Hopkins (Anthony Hopkins) dies at the end.
MEET JOE BLACK: Joe Black/Death (Brad Pitt) falls in love with Susan (Claire Forlani), but as a gesture of love, he returns the life of the young man in the coffee shop at the beginning into his own body.
MEET JOE BLACK: Drew has been cheating Parish all the time as he has been trying to sell the company. He gets caught out by Joe Black who pretends to be a tax inspector who has been investigating the takeover all along. This also ties a few loose ends up nicely and explains Joe's sudden materialisation, and the connection between Death and Taxes...
MEN IN BLACK: "The Universe is on Orion's belt" means a little locket with a teenie weenie universe in it is hanging around Orion's (the cat's) neck. Jay (Will Smith) and Kay (Tommy Lee Jones) end up almost killing the big bug, but it's Linda Fiorentino who actually comes to the rescue and blasts it to pieces. After this, Tommy Lee Jones retires (gets mind wiped) and Linda Fiorentino takes his place partnering Will Smith.
MEN IN BLACK 2: Laura (the pretty girl that Will Smith wants to shag) is "The Light" that Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle) is after. The only person who knows what is happening is Tommy lee Jones who's had his memory wiped. They bring him back and deneuralise him (gives him back his memory) but, he's actually wiped his previous memory of "The Light" himself, so they have to follow clues to find out what is going on. Surleena is blasted to bits at the end, and Laura is put on a space ship and propelled away from earth - so Will Smith doesn't get to rub naughties with her..
MERCURY RISING: The kid lives, Willis Lives, Baldwin dies (in a hail of bullets atop a skyscraper).
MEMENTO: This ones a bit tough to describe because the film goes backwards, but here goes... Guy Pearce has already killed his wife's murderer about a year ago and Joe Pantalino is the cop who sorta helped him do it, but as he knows that Pearce has no memory he has been manipulating him into killing other people too. That's why Pearce kills him at the start of the film, or is it the end, well, that's why he kills him anyway!
MINORITY REPORT: John Anderton (Tom Cruise) has been set up! The culprit is Lamar Burgess (Max von Sydow) who's hand is forced when questions are asked about the Ann Lively case. Anne Lively is the mother of Agatha (the main pre-cog), and she was murdered by Lamar at the beginning of the pre-crime experiment.
MINORITY REPORT: Howard Marks isn't the killer of John's son, it's all a setup to make John think he is and therefore kill Marks. Danny Witwer (Colin Farrell) is killed by Lamar Burgess as he describes his suspicions.
MINORITY REPORT: At the end, John has been captured for the death of Howard Marks (It was an accident as Howard grabbed for Anderton's gun) and John's wife breaks him outta prison and then plays Agatha's memory to the screens of a party where they all see how Lamar faked a death and actually killed Anne Lively himself. A disgraced Burgess confronts Anderton, and, Lamar kills himself.
MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET: Kris actually is Santa Claus.
MISS CONGENIALITY: Baddies - Kathy Morningside (Candice Bergen) because she was going to be sacked and Frank Tobin (Steve Monroe) who is actually her son. They place a bomb inside the winners' crown, but Grace Hart (Sandra Bullock) gets to it first. Bullock and Bratt get together at the end.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: The dirty rotten mole is indeed no other than Jim Phelps (Jon Voight, of Midnight Cowboy fame) together with his wife Claire (Emmanuelle Beart). Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) finally kills Voight by blowing up his helicopter with a piece of explosive chewing gum in the Channel Tunnel.
MOTHMAN PROPHESIES, THE: The Mothman is sending messages foretelling tragedies that are going to happen. The one John Klein (Richard Gere) is consumed by relates to Connie Parker's (Laura Linnie) "Wake up number 37" dream. 36 people die as a bridge (in view of the powerstation)at Point Pleasant breaks up. John Klein dives into the water and saves Connie (she was number 37...) who is stuck in her submerged Police car.
MOULIN ROUGE!: Satine (Nicole Kidman) has consumption and dies in Christian's (Ewan McGregor) arms after professing their undying love to eachother at the end of the first performance of 'Spectacular, Spectacular'. The Duke (Richard Roxburgh) finds out about Satine-Christian relationship and tries to have Christian shot, but that goes awry.
MR DEEDS: The Butler gets the money coz he's the real heir. Longfellow Deeds (Adam Sandler) and Babe Bennett (Winona Ryder) end up together with a $million present.
MURDER AT 1600: Alvin Jordan, National Security Advisor (Alan Alda) is the baddie. He has been trying to manipulate the president all along. He gets shot at the end in a White House shootout.
MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING: For all her plotting and planning, Julianne Potter (Julia Roberts) ends up without the guy as Michael O'Neal (Dermot Mulroney) and Kimmy Wallace (Cameron Diaz) do end up getting married at the end.

NASHVILLE: Barbara Jean gets assassinated.
NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET: Freddy Krueger is NOT dead at the end of either numbers I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, etc.....
NO WAY OUT: Kevin Costner is really the spy, after all.
NO WAY OUT: Will Patton is a gay wacko Red Herring with a crush on his boss, Gene Hackman.

 |
| THE OTHERS |
OCEAN'S ELEVEN: Daniel 'Danny' Ocean (George Clooney) succeeds with his plan to steal the $150 million dollars without a single one of his guys being either caught or hurt. And to make the day pretty much perfect for him, he ends up with Tess Ocean (Julia Roberts) as well (after 6 months in jail for parole violation).
OCEAN'S ELEVEN: Saul Bloom's (Carl Reiner) heart attack in the security room is faked, the footage they are watching of the vault being broken into is also being faked (it's being shot at their practice location), and the SWAT team are actually the villains in disguise. ONE HOUR PHOTO: Seymour 'Sy' Parrish (Robin Williams) gets pissed-off when he finds out that Will Yorkin (Michael Vartan) is shaggin' someone other than his wife. He exacts revenge by placing some incriminating photo's of this infidelity into a pile that toddler Yorkin has picked up ensuring that Nina Yorkin (Connie Nielsen) finds out. Sy then bursts into a hotel room when Will is having a shag to pretend to take some simulated piccies of the couple doing the bizzo. The long and the short of it, is that Sy is a sad lonely git who sees a husband and father (appearing to have it all) throw it away. I got it, I have depff!
ONLY YOU: Damon Bradley is a name that Merrisa Tomei's brother just made up when she was young.
ONLY YOU: Marisa Tomei finally sees Damon Bradley at the end, realises he's a geek and sticks with Robert Downey Jr..
OTHERS, THE: Grace (Nicole Kidman) and her two kiddies are actually dead (without of course realising it). Grace killed the kids by smothering them with a pillow and then shot-gunned herself. The "Others/Intruders" are the real people living in the house who are actually being haunted by Grace and her kiddies.
OTHERS, THE: The secret of the household help is that they died of tuberculosis in the late 1800's and know what is actually happening. The gravestones they are hiding are their own. The scary old lady in Anne's picture is a medium who is trying to make contact with them.

 |
| PSYCHO |
PANIC ROOM: Burnham (Forest Whitaker) is the only baddie to survive, and he gets arrested at the end. Mum, Dad and "I need my poxy injection girl" all survive to live another day.
PATCH ADAMS: Cartin Fisher (Monica Potter) is murdered by a deranged patient. Hunter "Patch" Adams (Robin Williams) is allowed to finish his schooling and become a doctor.
PAY IT FORWARD: Little Trev (Haley Joel Osment) gets stabbed to death at the end.

PEARL HARBOR: Captain Danny Walker (Josh Hartnett) croaks, and leaves pregnant nurse Evelyn
I'll shag the dead man's best buddy Johnson (Kate Beckinsale) and Rafe
I've predictably come back from the dead McCawley (Ben Affleck) to reignite their former audience manipulating romance.
PHILADELPHIA: Tom Hanks dies at the end.
PHONE BOOTH: Neither Stu Shepard (Colin Farrell), the caller (Keifer Sutherland), Captain Ramey (Forest Whitaker), the wife OR the girlfriend get shot. The police shoot Farrell with a rubber bullet to put the caller off, they then raid the room the caller is in and found that he has committed suicide just before they got there (the caller has actually killed a pizza delivery boy to make them think he is dead).
PHONE BOOTH: As Farrell is recovering in the back of the ambulance at the end, Keither Sutherland appears and basically tells him to persue his new life change (being honest) or he can target him once again with a more deadly consequence - before disappearing...
PLANET OF THE APES (1968): The Planet of the Apes is really Earth.
PLANET OF THE APES (2001): Captain Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) leads a small group to the spaceship and unites with the humans to fight against the bad apes. With the help of his ships almost exhausted fuel they win the battle, and the remaining apes and humans unite. General Thade (Tim Roth) is locked in the ships' control room (apparently forever).
PLANET OF THE APES (2001): The surprise ending is a load of old tosh and relates in no way shape or form to the preceding 2 hours! Upon his return FROM the Planet of the Apes, Captain Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) discovers that Earth has somehow been taken over by apes and they are doing all the jobs (without any explanation whatsoever) of humans.
PLATOON: Sgt. Elias Grodin (Willem Dafoe) is killed when he's left up shit creek by Staff Sgt. Bob Barnes (Tom Berenger). Tom Berenger gets his when Pvt. Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) blows him away.
PLEASANTVILLE: The black-and-white world of Pleasantville is changed as Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon introduce them to new things. As each thing is 'infected' by the newness, it chages to colour. A similar change occurs with the main characters. Witherspoon changes to colour when studying becomes more important to her than her previous life of trivia, and Maguire changes when he stands up to a crowd who want to attack Bud's mother for being 'coloured' (and punches one of them).
PLEASANTVILLE: The town finally changes to ALL COLOUR when Big Bob (J.T. Walsh) becomes
unpleasant and finally loses his temper.
POINT BREAK: Bodhi (Patrick Swayze) comes a cropper when he is tracked down by FBI Special Agent Johnny 'John' Utah (Keanu Reeves) at Bells Beach. The waves are mega and pretty much unsurvivable for any surfer. Utah knows that it's a fitting end for Bodhi to take on the waves. We see Bodhi swim out towards these mega beasts and are lead to assume that he's on borrowed time...
PRESUMED INNOCENT: Harrison Ford’s wife, Bonnie Bedelia, killed the babe.
PRIMAL FEAR: Aaron Stampler (Edward Norton) is fooling everyone (including his lawyer Martin Vail (Richard Gere), because he is really faking that he is schizo and he really DID murder the Cardinal.
PRIZZI'S HONOUR: Jack Nicholson kills Kathleen Turner with a neat knife throw to the throat.
PSYCHO: Norman Bates' mom has been dead for some time; he dresses up like her and kills folks, including Janet Leigh and Martin Balsam.

QUICK AND THE DEAD, THE: Shazza Stone has a shootout with Gene Hackman, and shoots him straight through the heart. Russell crowe survives, Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't (Hackman shoots him earlier).

RANSOM: Mel Gibson decides that the ransom money would be better spent on bounty (not the candy bar) hunters. The gambit works out, and reveals that the kidnappers were indeed none other than a cop and a few scumbags.
RECRUIT, THE: Walter Burke (Al Pacino) is setting James Clayton (Colin Farrell) up all along. Colin tricks Al into thinking that he is recording and broadcasting a confession of sorts (he then spills the truth when confronted by the other FBI agents - realising in mid speach that he's been conned). James and Layla (Bridget Moynahan) both end up fine.
RING, THE: Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) doesn't die because she inadvertantly made a copy of the video tape (which is the secret, copy it, I suppose it makes the girl who died (Samara Morgan) happy and she lets you live). Rachel makes her
ex husband Noah copy the tape before the end and he therefore becomes safe from it too. Pretty much everyone else who sees the tape dies.
RING, THE: The ring itself is the circular shadow of light that the little girl (Samara Morgan) saw when a lid was placed on top of the well that she was dropped in. The film ends with us knowing how and why people die, but the deaths will continue as the tape is still out there, as is the killer - who, being a ghost can never be stopped...
ROAD TO PERDITION: Tom Hanks kills John Rooney (Paul Newman) by shooting him and his gang of protectors in the street. He also kills and his son Connor Rooney (who killed Hanks' wife and son - by shooting him in a bath). Then just when you are lead to believe it's all over, Maguire (Jude Law) is lying in wait for Hanks and his so at the beach-house. Hanks gets shot in the back, and Michael his son comes in with the gun Hnaks gave him earlier. He points it at Law, but can't shoot, Hanks survives long enough to kill Law and then dies himself.
ROAD TO PERDITION: Michael Sullivan drives back to the house of the people who helped him and his father when he was shot - to presumably live with them (lets face it, pretty much everyone else he has ever known is sorta dead by this point)...
ROCK, THE: All the 81 hostages survive intact, not a single one is killed. Two of the missiles are fired, one is set off by the terrorists, but Brig. Gen. Francis X. Hummel (Ed Harris) diverts it so that it drops into the sea, the other is set off by Stanley Goodspeed (Nicholas Cage) who shoots it through a terrorists body. Ed Harris dies, and Nicholas Cage pretends that John Patrick Mason (Sean Connery) has died so that he can finally have a life of freedom.
RONIN: You never find out what's in the case!
ROMEO AND JULIET: They die.
RUNAWAY BRIDE: Maggie Carpenter (Julia Roberts) and Ike Graham (Richard Gere) get married. Maggie does leave him at the alter for the first attempt, but she tracks him down in the city, gives him a present of her running shoes and then proposes to him..
RUSH HOUR: Juntao the Hong Kong master criminal is Thomas Griffin (Tom Wilkinson) the Governor of Hong Kong. He's been trying to get his own back for all the problems Jacki Chan caused him in Hong Kong. All the baddies are killed at the end in the Museum.

 |
| THE SIXTH SENSE |
SAINT, THE: Simon Templar (Val Kilmer) and Dr. Emma Russell (Elizabeth Shue) end up together after Simon gets the baddie Russian imprisoned and Emma gives her formula for cold fusion to the world for free... Roger Moore (The original
Saint in the TV series) is given the token part of "radio announcer" for the last 20 seconds of the film.
SAVING PRIVATE RYAN: Captain John H. Miller (Tom Hanks) dies at the end when he gets shot. Private Ryan (Matt Damon) survives (he's the guy you see at the start of the film visiting Miller's grave. Sergeant Michael Horvath (Tom Sizemore) also gets shot up.
SAVING PRIVATE RYAN: The small group holds up the Germans for long enough to enable the allied forces to fly in and drop bombs and shoot all the Germans from the sky. The bridge is saved (unfortunately the planes arrive a couple of minutes too late for Tom Hanks)
SCARFACE: Al Pacino gets blown to pieces at the end.
SCORE, THE: Jack Teller (Edward Norton) double crosses Nick Wells (Robert De Niro). At the end of the robbery he forces De Niro at gunpoint to give him the sceptre and take off his mask (if De Niro chases Norton his face will be revealed). De Niro obvoisly chooses to run the other way, and get away. The sting in the tail is that De Niro has swapped the real sceptre for a crap one.
SCREAM: There are two killers working together to give eachother alibi's. Sidney 'Sid' Prescott's (Neve Campbell) boyfriend William 'Billy' Loomis (Skeet Ulrich) and Stuart 'Stu' Macher (Matthew Lillard). Stu is killed when Sidney drops a tv on his head and he gets fried. Billy takes a little more killing. He's initially stopped in his tracks when Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) shoots him in the chest. Lying prone on the floor he comes up for one last scare and Sid shoots him in the centre of the forehead. Like most horror films, most of the other young characters bite the dust.
SCREAM 2: Once again we have two killers, this time killer number one is: Mickey Altieri (Timothy Olyphant)... and killer number two is: Debbie Salt (Laurie Metcalf) aka Mrs Loomis Billy's mom. Unfortunately for Mickey, momma Loomis doesn't want a partner, so she shoots him a couple of times (he shoots Gale as he's dying - but you find out later he's only winged her). Cotton Weary shoots Mrs Loomis, and, as we are waiting for her to get better Mickey returns from the dead. Sidney and Gale Weathers (who's recovered from her flesh-wound) empty most of their bullets into him. Sidney then turns to Billy's mom and shoots her in the head (just in-case).
SCREAM 2: Derek Feldman (Jerry O'Connell) is killed by Mickey Altieri. Dewey survives.
SCREAM 3: Cotton Weary dies in a mere 8 mins and 55 seconds. Dewey proposes to Gale Weathers at the end. She accepts.
SCREAM 3: This time the killer is film director Roman Bridger (Scott Foley). He says he's the illigitimate son of Maureen Prescott (Sidney's mum - and therefore Sidney's brother) but as he was never accepted he has "issues" and put Billy Loomis up to things in the first film, etc... Roman actually shoots Sidney twice, but we all know she can't die, so surprise surprise she recovers (coz she's wearing a bullet-proof vest)! She then stabs Roman twice with a nice third one in the heart. Of course this doesn't finish him off and Dewey has to shoot him ten times (bullet proof vest) and then one clincher in the forehead.
SEVEN: Gwyneth Paltrow's (Brad Pitt's wife in the film) head gets delivered to Brad Pitt in a box therefore forcing him to kill the baddie (Kevin Spacey) and complete the SEVENTH deadly sin.
SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS: All seven brothers get married.
SHATTERED: The mysterious guy is really Tom Berenger before he was in the car accident and had plastic surgery.
SHREK: Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) is an ogre too. At night she changes from her beautiful temporary self back to a green
"Shrek-like" lump. During her wedding ceremony to Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) Shrek comes rushing in (after being flown there by the dragon who's smitten with the donkey. The dragon eats Farquaad and the first kiss between Shrek and Fiona results in her permanent change to her ogrelike self (Which Shrek of course finds beautiful). Ahh, love, ya can't beat it!
SIGNS: Aliens have indeed invaded earth. They are apparently here to harvest humans or something. I lost track a bit because it was the biggest load of bollox I have seen in a long time.
SIGNS: Father Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) regains his faith at the end and becomes a priest again after he saves his sons life with an asthma injection after his brother Merrill (Joaquin Phoenix) has creamed an alien with the previously telegraphed baseball bat scene. The other aliens have all buggered off by this point (they should have been joined by the audience too) possibly because water pisses them off or something (the film was a bit ambiguous about this...)
SIXTEEN CANDLES: Molly Rongwald gets the Jakemeister.....
SIXTH SENSE, THE: Dr. Malcom Crowe (Bruce Willis) dies at the start of the film when he is shot, and he is infact a ghost himself when speaking to the kid. So, when the kid says he seeees dead peeple, one of them is this dead psycho psychiatrist). Mensa boy Brucie finally works this out at the end when he sees that his wife has been holding his wedding ring all along, and then checks his own body and sees all the blood and stuff from the original shooting.
SNIPER 2: Cole (Bokeem Woodbine) gets shot by the baddie sniper. He dies in the rescue helicopter on the way home. The mission is a success. Thomas Beckett (Tom Berenger) kills the baddie sniper.
SOLARIS: Somehow Solaris manages to bring back your memory of a loved one. Chris Kelvin (George Clooney) brings back his memory of Rheya (Natascha McElhone) his whife (who had commited suicide on Earth). She can't cope with existing as his memory only and begs another crew member to kill her (through a scientific method they have sussed). Clooney kills himself as the research station is absorbed by Solaris. In death, he is finally genuinelly re-united with Rheya...
SOMEONE LIKE YOU: Jane Goodale (Ashley Judd) and Eddie Alden (Hugh Jackman) end up together.
SOMMERSBY: Richard Gere ISN'T Jack Sommersby, and he dies at the end pretending to be. I'm sure there's some reason for this, but it's probably one that can only be deciphered by women or emotionally crippled men...
SOYLENT GREEN: Soylent Green is people.
SPACE JAM: A heap of aliens decide to suck the talent out of the most talented players in the NBA. The toons however know that Michael Jordan is more than a match for the rest of the NBA put together, so they snatch him, and guess what??? Yup, the toons win.....
SPACE COWBOYS: Col. William 'Hawk' Hawkins (Tommy Lee Jones) gets blasted onto the moon to remain there with his oxygen running out (he saves everyone from the 6 nuclear warheads on the satelite). The others return home on a manually landed Space Shuttle.
SPEED: Keanu Reeves ends up knocking Dennis Hoppers head off on top of an underground train.
SPEED 2 Cruise Control: John Geiger (Willem Dafoe) the
"need-for-speed" merchant dies when his boat-plane gets stuck on an oil tanker's mast and dripping petrol ignites the oil tanker... Most people seem to miraculously survive, Annie Porter (Sandra Bullock) and Alex Shaw (Jason Patric) somehow hardly manage to even get scratched. Oh, almost forgot, the whole plot is basically about a shipboard diamond heist.
STAR TREK - FIRST CONTACT: Ok, here goes... Data (apparently) shags the Borg queen, the old rocket thingy DOES take off and the warp field emission IS seen by the Vulcans. Oh, almost forgot, Worf lives!
STAR TREK - GENERATIONS: William Shatner dies at the end (It's worse than that.....He's dead Jim).
STAR WARS: EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE: Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) is killed by Darth Sidious, who is subsiquently killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) in a light-sabre battle.
STAR WARS: EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) takes on the young Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd) as his apprentice after the evil trade federation is destroyed.
STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE: Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness) is killed by Darth Vader.
STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE: The Death-Star is destroyed with a lovely shot by Luke (using the force).
STAR WARS: EPISODE V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: It is revealed that Darth Vader is the father of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).
STAR WARS: EPISODE V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: Han Solo (Harrison Ford) is captured by Darth Vader and frozen in Carbonite.
STAR WARS: EPISODE VI - RETURN OF THE JEDI: Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) is Luke Skywalker's sister (and therefore also Darth Vader's daughter).
STAR WARS: EPISODE VI - RETURN OF THE JEDI: Darth Vader saves Luke's (Mark Hamill) life by killing "The Emperor" and then removes his helmet long enough for us all to beg that he puts the bloody thing back on again. He then croaks...
STEEL MAGNOLIAS: Julia Roberts karks it in the kitchen.
STING, THE: Paul Newman and Robert Redford pull off their sting against Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw). Newman shoots Redford at the end with a blank and Redford pretends to die. Lieutenant Snyder (Charles Durning) drags Lonnegan out of the place to protect him after being told to do so by the FBI (who are also actors in on the sting). At the end Newman and Redford walk off with the knowledge of a job well done.
STORY OF US, THE: They end up together at the end after Katie (Michelle Pfeiffer) stats babbling like a blubbering mess about Ben (Bruce Willis) knowing all her faults and helping create the kids, and being good at directions and other pointless meaningless crap...
SUM OF ALL FEARS, THE: DCI William Cabot (Morgan Freeman) dies in the nuclear explosion in Baltimore. Afflecks girlfriend doesn't, neither does the president. War is overted when the Russian President listens to Affleck and backs down from launching his missiles. The US President follows suit.
SUSPECT (1987): The killer is Judge Matthew Helms (John Mahoney). He did it because the girl he killed uncovered a bribery thingy about 20 years ago that the judge was involved in. Cher (working in tandem with Dennis Quaid) susses it, and Liam Neeson is indeed innocent
SWEET NOVEMBER: Sara Deever (Charlize Theron) is dying of some sort of cancer, so she has one month relationships with men changing their lives, making them really happy, having them fall in love with her, so that her memory will last. Nelson Moss (Keanu Reeves) falls ass over tit in love with her, is willing to give everything up to be with her and care for her, but she doesn't allow it (she wants him to remember her as all the crap stuff I wrote at the start of this). So, she probably kicks the bucket (though you don't see it), and he probably ends up a bitter twisted woman hater (though you don't see that either).
SWEPT AWAY: The big surprise is that despite falling madly and passionately in love Amber (Madonna) and Giuseppe (Adriano Giannini) don't end up together because Tony (Ambers husband) sends back a ring that is meant for Amber. Other than the ending the rest is predictable 'hostage falls in love with terrorist'
Stockholm Syndrome style garbage.
SWORDFISH: Gabriel Shear (John Travolta) gets away with it at the end together with his accomplice Ginger Knowles (Halle Berry).

 |
| TITANIC |
TAKING LIVES: Hart (Keither Sutherland) is a red herring.
TAKING LIVES: Costa (Ethan Hawke) is the killer. He gets away with killing Keither Sutherland and then beheads his mother before running away. Illeana (Angelina Jolie) traps him by pretending she is pregnant, he stabs her false belly and she stabs him through the heart.
TERMINATOR, THE: Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) dies.
TERMINATOR, THE: Sarah Connor's (Linda Hamilton) first attempt to kill The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) when she tries blowing him up with the help of a fuel tanker fails, it basically just burns off his skin, he then returns and she crushes him to death in an industrial press.
TERMINATOR II: JUDGEMENT DAY: The T-1000 (Robert Patrick) is melted down when he is dropped into a huge melting furnace. The amount of molten metal basically melts him and then completely dilutes him into all the metal. The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) then kills himself by using the same method so that the possibility of someone using his own technology to create more terminators doesn't happen..
TERMINATOR III: RISE OF THE MACHINES: The film is basically a futile episode to try and prevent judgement day from coming. This doesn't happen! SkyNet DOES take control, and missiles are launched. John Connor (Nick Stahl) and Kate Brewster (Claire Danes) are in relative safety as this happens having been tricked/manoeuvred into entering the presidential fall-out shelter in the mistaken hope of destroying SkyNet.
TERMINATOR III: RISE OF THE MACHINES: Both the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and the T-X (Kristanna Loken) are destroyed when Arnie removed his second power cell to blow them both to kingdom come and therefore protect John Connor and Kate Brewster (his future wife).
TERMS OF ENDEARMENT: Debra Winger dies at the end.
TITANIC: It sinks!
TITANIC: Jack Dawson (Leonardo Di Caprio) dies of hypothermia as a bloody ungrateful Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) survives on a floating wooden thingy (any decent woman would share the time out of the freezing water, but Kate knows how to look after number one!).
TITANIC: The old Rose has the 47 carat diamond necklace with her all the time, and ends up throwing it into the ocean (above the Titanic) prior to going to bed and then (apparently) going belly up in her sleep.
TOP GUN: Goose dies.
TRAINING DAY: Detective Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington) is indeed a dirty cop. He gets killed at the end in a ritual Russian assasination in the street (because he didn't pay them the money he owed them).
TRAINING DAY: Officer Jake Hoyt (Ethan Hawke) survives his arduous day.
TRAPPED (2002): The surprise (of sorts) is that the blackmail money is not the only motivation for the crime. Joe Hickey (Kevin Bacon) believes (incorrectly) that Dr. William 'Will' Jennings (Stuart Townsend) caused his daughter to die through a mistake after an operation. Towards the end, Joe decides that he wants to keep Abby so that he, Courtney Love and Abby can become a family.
TRAPPED (2002): The only one to die is Joe Hickey (Kevin Bacon). He gets shot twice in the chest by Charlize Theron. Surprisingly he doesn't come back from the dead for one last strike. The daughter Abigail 'Abby' Jennings is rescued and has one last Ashma attack which she of course survives. Cheryl Hickey and Marvin are both arrested.
TRUMAN SHOW, THE: Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) leaves in the end by boat. He sails until he hits the wall at the end of the sea (and then finds a small door in it). He walks through to his freedom where Lauren Garland/Sylvia (Natascha McElhone) is rushing to meet him.
TWELVE MONKEYS: Cole (Bruce Willis') is actually the young boy who watches his future self die.
TWELVE MONKEYS: Cole (Bruce Willis') does NOT save the world, therefore rendering this little time circle pretty pointless.
TURBULENCE: Teri Halloran (Lauren Holly) ends up blowing a nice little hole in Ryan Weaver's (Ray Liotta) head with her 5th pull of the trigger (4 empty barrels for suspense). She then lands the plane and the hostages are found alive in the crew quarters.
TWIN PEAKS: Leland Palmer (Ray Wise) killed Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) while he was possessed by Killer Bob.

UNBREAKABLE: Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) has been creating all the incidents (bombings, crashes, etc.) in his quest to find someone who is charmed/unbreakable and therefore the exact opposite of himself. That person is David Dunn (Bruce Willis). Bruce Willis dobs him in at the end and Elijah is placed in an institution for the criminally insane.
UNDER SIEGE: Surprisingly, Casey Ryback (Steven Seagal) gets a hair knocked out of place at one point, but rest assured, other than that he manages to survive intact (as does the chick with the big prospects...). All the baddies are obviously dispensed with. William Stranix (Tommy Lee Jones) gets a knife to the head after the 'big-fight' and Cmdr. Krill (Gary Busey) gets blown up on the submarine as it leaves (one of Rybacks little helpers was a gunners mate).
UNDER SUSPICION: Liam Neeson is the killer, he cut off the thumb and hid it in Laura San Giacomo's paint box to frame her.
UNDERWORLD: Selene (Kate Beckinsale) cuts Viktor's (Bill Nighy) head in half with a sword to finish him off after she is informed that it was indeed Viktor who butchered all her family many many years ago.
UNDERWORLD: Selene bites Michael (Scott Speedman) so that he becomes half vampire and half lycan (the combination of the two makes him stronger than both individually). This sort of completes the task that Lucian (Michael Sheen) set for himself after witnessing the death of his vampire wife.
UNTOUCHABLES, THE: Sean Connery gets killed (not in his home as you might originally think, but afterwards when he's at his front door, he gets gunned down). The FBI accountant guy gets killed in a lift, Kevin Costner throws Walter Nitty (Billy Drago) off a building (nice shot of him crushing the roof of a car). And Al Capone (Robert De Niro) is imprisoned for tax evasion.
UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL: Robert Redford dies at the end.
USUAL SUSPECTS, THE: Club foot criminal Verbal (Kevin Spacey) is none other than the master evil-meister Keyser Söoze. A hint to this is the fact (apparently) that Söoze means verbal in Turkish.
USUAL SUSPECTS, THE: Another big hint could be that all the other "suspects" get killed.

VAN HELSING: As Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) gives Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) the Werewolf antidote (saving him in the nick of time) he lands on her and crushes her. She dies saving Aussie boy Hugh (what woman could ask for more?). The big finale is a fight between High grant as a pissed off Werewolf and Count Vladislaus Dracula (Richard Roxburgh). It's basically just a punchfest until the final stab. As Drac dies, so do all his little babies. All the themic plot changes (ie, Drac can only be killed by a werewolf, etc.. make it into a pissweak effects-fest).

| WAR OF THE ROSES |
WAR OF THE ROSES: Both Barbera Rose (Kathleen Turner) and Oliver Rose (Michael Douglas) die (so does the cat).
WEDDING PLANNER, THE: Matthew McConaughey and Bridgette Wilson agree just before their wedding that the reasons for them to marry aren't as valid as they were a while back, so they part amicably. Matthew then finds out that Jennifer Lopez has left the wedding to get married herself. Surprise surprise, she doesn't go through with it, and the two of them end up together..
WEDDING SINGER, THE: Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler) ends up marrying Julia Sullivan (Drew Barrymore).
WHAT LIES BENEATH: Dr. Norman Spencer (Harrison Ford) had an affair with a student, she threatened to expose his affair, so he drowns her. She is now haunting his wife Claire (Pfeiffer). When things get too tangled and Claire becomes possessed by the drowned ex., Claire finally realises that she has been killed. Norman says it was all an accident and Claire says that the body must be raised. This of course means that the truth will be exposed so Norman decides to kill his wife. He drugs her, he gets the shit scared out of him by a ghost, falls over and cracks his head, and his wife runs away from the house to call the police (mobile has no signal until she drives over a bridge). Norman in back of utility vehicle - bridge - mobile signal - fight - car crashes into river - struggle - dead body rises from depths - Normans foot gets stuck in sinking utility - Claire swims away to safety.
WHAT WOMEN WANT: Darcy McGuire (Helen Hunt) and Nick Marshall (Mel Gibson) end up together at the end despite her sacking him after he admits to her that he stole all her ideas.
WHEN HARRY MET SALLY: Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) and Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) get married.
WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT: Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) framed him. He is (by the way) a toon dressed up as a human being!
WILD BUNCH, THE: The whole Wild Bunch gets slaughtered at the end.
WINDTALKERS: Sgt. Joe Enders (Nicolas Cage) is shot in the chest and killed in the final push for Saipan. Pvt. Ben Yahzee (Adam Beach) is shot in the leg and carried to safety by Cage (moments before Joe croaks it.). Ben returns home and unites with his family. I will request some help on this one though, could someone please explain why the hell Rita (Frances O'Connor in an utter waste of time role) was written into the script?
WIZARD OF OZ: That whole Oz affair was the result of a nasty blow to the head and never really happened.
WOMAN IN THE WINDOW, THE: It was all Edward G. Robinson’s dream.
WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLFE?: George and Martha have an imaginary kid that George kills off.

 |
| X2 |
X-MEN: Magneto (Ian McKellen) is hunting for Rogue (despite leading the goodies to believe he's after Wolverine), so that he can harness her ability to absorb the powers of other mutants. Magneto is finally captured and imprisoned in a plastic prison (due to his control of metals). Mystique (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) gets away.
X2: Dr. Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) dies saving Wolverine and the gang from a burst dam and a broken airoplane near the end. We assume that Gen. William Stryker (Brian Cox) dies as he is chained to concrete foundations below the waterline when the dam bursts. Stryker's sidekick (the chick with the long metal nails) is killed by Wolverine when he injects her with the liquid version of the metal that made his blades (he injects her with so much it comes outta her ears, nose and mouth...).
X2: Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) finds out that he is the result of a Gen. William Stryker experiment. Magneto and Mystique survive again and this time they are joined by Pyro (who looks like he's gone over to the bad guys). Storm (Halle Berry) stops Jason's mind control of Professor Charles Xavier by lowering the temperature so much that he can no longer function properly. Jason is then killed by 'bits-a' fallin' debris.
